Discover the Wonderful World of Ehon with "Little Residents" of Thang Long Number One
Last weekend, the living space at Thang Long Number One was more bustling and filled with children's laughter when the VISAHO Management Board successfully organized a colourful and meaningful Ehon story reading session. This was an event designed specifically for young residents, bringing them not only joy but also valuable educational values.
Ehon, a famous comics series Japan, is always known for its meaningful stories, vivid images and gentle approach, helping children develop their imagination and creative thinking. Through each page of the book, children seem to step a magical world, where vivid characters appear and emotional stories gradually unfold.
At this story reading session, children had the opportunity to explore the world of Ehon through colourful stories, helping them to learn to love, share and appreciate the small in life. The special highlight of this event was Kamishibai - a traditional Japanese picture storytelling form that brought young residents a new and fascinating experience. The picture frames not only told the story vividly but also created a connection, making it impossible for children to take their eyes off every detail.
The combination of images and gentle narration makes children feel like they are lost in a fairy tale world, where lessons about friendship, sharing, and kindness are conveyed naturally and subtly.
Not only reading stories, the event also gave children the opportunity to participate in creative activities such as Origami and coloring. Origami – the traditional Japanese art of paper folding – helps children practice their dexterity and create cute Origami works.
This is not the first time the Ehon story reading activity has been held at Thang Long Number One. Previously, similar events have taken place many times and always received enthusiastic support children as well as parents. The excitement, joy and enthusiastic participation of the young residents have made each story reading session a memorable memory, a moment connecting family and community.
Not only does it bring joy to children, but story-reading sessions are also an opportunity for them to connect and interact, thereby creating a friendly and harmonious community of young residents. Moreover, through books and creative activities, children are also encouraged to love reading culture - an important foundation to help them develop comprehensively in terms of intelligence, emotions and soul.
Through Ehon and Kamishibai experiences, little residents not only learn many useful things but also experience unique Japanese cultural values. VISAHO is always proud to accompany residents, bringing meaningful cultural and educational activities, contributing to building a united, civilized and loving community.
