Mid-Autumn Festival is simple but full of meaning

Instead of organizing large entertainment programs, VISAHO and the project management team focused on giving small but meaningful gifts to the children. We understand that the most important thing during this Mid-Autumn Festival is not the exciting activities, but the warmth and love for each other. The gifts, though simple, were given to each child, contributing to bringing small joys in a meaningful moment.

In addition, at some projects, small recreational activities are still organized to create a joyful space for children. They participated in simple but interesting games such as coloring statues, drawing, playing chess, performing arts and breaking out mooncakes right in the community room, bringing innocent smiles and simple joys.

The Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 is not as sparkling, vibrant, and colorful as previous years, but the small gifts that VISAHO and the projects give contain sincere feelings, contributing to bringing simple joy to children in a truly meaningful moon season.

"Little miracles" little residents

At Thang Long Number One, the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere this year was different when the young residents made cards of love and sent them to the children in Nam Co village, Khanh Yen commune, Lao Cai province where heavily affected by storm No. 3. Although the letters are still scribbled and the drawings are somewhat clumsy, each card contains love and sharing of the children. These are not just ordinary paper cards, but also words of encouragement and hope for better things to come to you.

Along with that, residents and VISAHO management board joined hands to donate to support children of two schools in Lao Cai province. This Mid-Autumn Festival may not be colorful, but it is full of human values, so that children understand that the most complete joy is when they know how to share and spread love.
