Kendama Workshop arouse “Vertical City” The Zei

Last weekend, at The Zei luxury apartment building, Kendama Workshop took place - an interesting traditional culture Japan. This is an activity towards the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan organized by VISAHO.

The Representative of VISAHO - Mr. Hattori Hayato gave an opening speech at the Workshop.

During the Workshop, The Zei residents had quality experiences, were introduced to Kendama, understood this sport and successfully practiced the first Kendama control movements.

Also during the activity, the Deputy General Director of VISAHO Joint Stock Company - Mr. Hattori Hayato donated 10 sets of Kendama to The Zei Library so that residents who are interested in this game can practice at the building anytime.

All residents participating in the Workshop are guided by a professional Kendama player to familiarize themselves with Kendama, performing 5 basic moves within the Workshop's limited time. The diverse and creative ways of playing and interacting with Kendama make the residents of The Zei feel excited.

Not only a folk game, a competitive sport, Kendama is also a thread connecting the community of players together through ways of playing that require interaction and collaboration between groups of players. Thanks to this feature, the workshop can connect the residents participating with each other closely.

Although the workshop lasted only two hours, it conveyed to all participants the spirit and core of this unique folk game: No rush, no panic, no quitting.

Many residents, especially young ones, once they understood the principles of Kendama's play and sportsmanship, they began to enjoy this new and interesting sport.
